TEA ร่วมประชุมภาครัฐ–เอกชน หารือแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาแรงงานต่างชาติในอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์

เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้ สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) หรือ TEA ร่วมประชุมหารือกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและหาแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาการจ้างแรงงานต่างชาติในอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์และงานแสดงสินค้า โดยมุ่งสร้างความชัดเจนด้านกฎหมาย การกำกับดูแล และแนวทางการปฏิบัติสำหรับผู้ประกอบการ

การประชุมครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญ ทั้งการทำงานของแรงงานต่างชาติ การพัฒนามาตรฐานฝีมือแรงงาน การใช้ผู้รับเหมาสร้างบูธ ตลอดจนมาตรฐานและความปลอดภัยในการจัดงาน โดยภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนเห็นร่วมกันถึงความสำคัญของการบูรณาการข้อมูลและการทำงานร่วมกัน เพื่อสร้างมาตรฐานเดียวกันและการแข่งขันที่เป็นธรรมในอุตสาหกรรม

สำหรับ TEA ได้ร่วมเสนอแนวทางยกระดับมาตรฐานการดำเนินธุรกิจไมซ์ ทั้งการจัดทำแนวทางปฏิบัติกลาง การพัฒนามาตรฐานฝีมือผู้รับเหมาสร้างบูธ การจัดทำ Certified Contractor List และระบบตรวจสอบคุณสมบัติผู้รับเหมาจากต่างประเทศ รวมถึงการกำหนดแนวทางการใช้แรงงานต่างชาติให้มีความเหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกับกฎหมาย

🤝 TEA มุ่งมั่นสนับสนุนการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน เพื่อสร้างมาตรฐานที่ชัดเจน ยกระดับความปลอดภัย และส่งเสริมการแข่งขันที่เป็นธรรม อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์และงานแสดงสินค้าของไทยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน

Recently, the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) participated in a discussion with government agencies and private-sector stakeholders to exchange views and explore solutions to issues surrounding the employment of foreign workers in the MICE and exhibition industry. The discussion focused on establishing greater clarity regarding legal requirements, regulatory oversight, and practical guidelines for industry operators.

Key topics included the employment of foreign workers, the development of workforce skill standards, the use of exhibition booth contractors, as well as standards and safety in event operations. Both the public and private sectors recognized the importance of integrating information and strengthening collaboration to establish common standards and promote fair competition within the industry.

TEA also proposed several approaches to strengthening standards in MICE business operations, including the development of common operating guidelines, the establishment of skill standards for exhibition booth contractors, the creation of a Certified Contractor List, and a qualification verification system for foreign contractors. The discussion also addressed appropriate guidelines for the employment of foreign workers in compliance with applicable laws.
