TEA พาสื่อเปิดศักยภาพ EEE ขับเคลื่อนภาคตะวันออก

สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) หรือ TEA จัดกิจกรรม Media Trip นำคณะสื่อมวลชนเยี่ยมชมโครงการ Empower Eastern Exhibitions (EEE) เมื่อวันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2569 เพื่อร่วมติดตามศักยภาพของพื้นที่ภาคตะวันออกในการก้าวสู่ศูนย์กลางการจัดงานแสดงสินค้าและนิทรรศการระดับนานาชาติ โดยคณะได้เข้าเยี่ยมชม 12M Convention Hall โรงแรมไบรท์ตัน แกรนด์ พัทยา จังหวัดชลบุรี และร่วมกิจกรรม Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026 ซึ่งเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงธุรกิจด้านการท่องเที่ยวและไมซ์ของภูมิภาค

โครงการ Empower Eastern Exhibitions (EEE) เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่าง สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TCEB และ สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) หรือ TEA โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก สำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) พร้อมเครือข่ายภาครัฐและเอกชน เพื่อขยายฐานการจัดงานแสดงสินค้าและนิทรรศการจากกรุงเทพมหานครสู่พื้นที่ ชลบุรี ระยอง และฉะเชิงเทรา ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ยุทธศาสตร์ของเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC) โดยมุ่งสร้างโอกาสทางธุรกิจ ส่งเสริมการจับคู่ธุรกิจ การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และยกระดับศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการไทยในภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน

ภายในกิจกรรม คณะสื่อมวลชนได้รับฟังข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทิศทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์และงานแสดงสินค้าในพื้นที่ภาคตะวันออก รวมถึงความพร้อมของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและศักยภาพของจังหวัดชลบุรีในการรองรับงานระดับนานาชาติ ตลอดจนบทบาทของงาน Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026 ในการเป็นเวทีเจรจาธุรกิจ (B2B) ที่เชื่อมโยงผู้ประกอบการด้านการท่องเที่ยว โรงแรม สถานที่จัดงาน และผู้ซื้อทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ เพื่อสร้างโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจและกระจายรายได้สู่ภูมิภาค

🤝 TEA เชื่อมั่นว่าโครงการ Empower Eastern Exhibitions จะเป็นอีกหนึ่งกลไกสำคัญในการขยายศักยภาพอุตสาหกรรมงานแสดงสินค้าไทย สร้างศูนย์กลางเศรษฐกิจใหม่ในภาคตะวันออก และผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางอุตสาหกรรม MICE และการลงทุนของภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน 🌏🚀

The Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) organized a Media Trip on 16 July 2026, inviting members of the media to explore the Empower Eastern Exhibitions (EEE) project and discover the Eastern region's potential to become Thailand's next international exhibition and convention hub. During the visit, the delegation toured the 12M Convention Hall at Brighton Grand Hotel Pattaya, Chonburi, and participated in Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026, a key platform connecting businesses within the regional tourism and MICE industries.

The Empower Eastern Exhibitions (EEE) project is a collaborative initiative between the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) (TCEB) and the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), with support from the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), together with public and private sector partners. The project aims to expand the exhibition and convention industry beyond Bangkok into the three strategic provinces of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)—Chonburi, Rayong, and Chachoengsao. Its objectives include creating new business opportunities, promoting business matching, facilitating knowledge exchange, and strengthening the capabilities of regional entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable growth.

During the program, media representatives received updates on the development of the MICE and exhibition industry in the Eastern region, including the readiness of local infrastructure and Chonburi's potential to host international events. They also learned about the role of Pattaya Travel Mart & MICE 2026 as a B2B platform connecting tourism operators, hotels, venues, and domestic and international buyers to generate economic opportunities and distribute income throughout the region.
