TEA ร่วมประชุมหารือแนวทางยกระดับมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรม MICE ไทย

สมาคมการแสดงสินค้า (ไทย) หรือ TEA นำโดย นาย กวิน กิตติบุญญา อุปนายก เหรัญญิก และประธานอนุกรรมการการตลาดและประชาสัมพันธ์ เข้าร่วมการประชุมหารือร่วมกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TCEB และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและกำหนดแนวทางการยกระดับมาตรฐานการดำเนินงานในอุตสาหกรรม MICE ไทย

การประชุมครั้งนี้มีที่มาจากประเด็นปัญหาการเข้ามาดำเนินงานของผู้รับเหมาต่างชาติในงานแสดงสินค้า ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อมาตรฐานการจัดงาน ความปลอดภัย การควบคุมคุณภาพ ตลอดจนการแข่งขันของผู้ประกอบการไทย

ภายในที่ประชุมได้มีการหารือถึงแนวทางการกำหนดมาตรการและแนวปฏิบัติที่สามารถบังคับใช้ได้จริง เพื่อยกระดับจาก “การขอความร่วมมือ” ไปสู่ “มาตรฐานกลางของอุตสาหกรรม” รวมถึงการควบคุมด้านแรงงาน ความปลอดภัย และมาตรฐานการดำเนินงานในงานแสดงสินค้าและอีเวนต์

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีแนวทางในการจัดตั้งคณะทำงาน Joint Operating Committee (JOC) ซึ่งจะเชิญหน่วยงานภาครัฐ สมาคมวิชาชีพ และผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องในอุตสาหกรรม MICE เข้าร่วมกำหนดแนวทางและมาตรการร่วมกัน เพื่อผลักดันมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้มีความเข้มแข็ง โปร่งใส และสามารถแข่งขันในระดับสากลได้อย่างยั่งยืน 🚀

The Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), led by Mr. Kavin Kittibunya, Vice President, Treasurer, and Chair of the Marketing and Public Relations Subcommittee, participated in a discussion meeting with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB, together with related organizations, to exchange perspectives and explore approaches to enhancing operational standards within Thailand’s MICE industry.

The meeting was initiated in response to concerns regarding foreign contractors operating in trade exhibitions, which have impacted event standards, safety, quality control, and the competitiveness of Thai operators.

During the discussion, participants explored practical measures and enforceable guidelines aimed at elevating the industry from voluntary cooperation toward unified industry standards. Key topics included labor management, safety regulations, and operational standards for exhibitions and events.

In addition, there are plans to establish a Joint Operating Committee (JOC), bringing together government agencies, professional associations, and key stakeholders in the MICE industry to jointly develop guidelines and industry measures. This initiative aims to strengthen Thailand’s MICE standards, enhance transparency, and support sustainable competitiveness on the global stage 🚀
